The Brewhouse is a vibrant Arts Centre in the heart of Burton upon Trent. We offer a varied programme of events, performances and workshops for the whole family. We are home to a 230 seat theatre, a whole host of studio spaces as well as a 50 seat cinema, a gallery space and our café bar offering delicious cakes and refreshments.
This is a new role within the Brewhouse team, as part of our currently development of a varied audience development and participation programme, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and committed individual to support the growth and promotion of our offer to local audiences.
The role will provide administration support to the Brewhouse, Arts & Town Hall Manager and Participation & Audience Development Officer. Assisting in the coordination and delivery of the Brewhouse participation, learning and audience development programmes.
You should be enthusiastic and have genuine interest in the arts and arts development; bring ideas and be confident in working with a variety of partners, artists, clients and customers; knowledge of using social media and producing marketing materials; knowledge of associated administration requirements and processes in delivering safe and successful arts events and projects. You should have a relevant arts or arts administration qualification level 3 or above.
You should have previous experience of working in a customer facing role and experience of co-ordination of of projects, events, workshops or similar. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
The hours of work are 30 hours per week, flexible to meet the needs of the business.
