Resilience Foster Carer

Payment: £477.61 per week plus up to £164.99 allowance for the child

Resilience Fostering is your opportunity to change a young person's life. We have an exciting opportunity for individuals or couples who have experience in working with or looking after vulnerable young people to make a real difference.

Resilience Fostering is a unique opportunity where carers provide long term family based placements for young people aged 8-18 years old who currently live in residential care. As a Resilience Foster Carer you would be matched with a young person and support that young person into independence.

The children we've identified desperately need an opportunity to live in a loving family environment and be supported to reach their full potential.

If you've ever been a residential support worker, teacher or teaching assistant, youth offending service worker, police officer or prison officer or similar professional experience, you could be just the person we are looking for.

A few requirements include you must:
• Be able to stay at home as a full time carer with no other employment.
• Have a room solely for use by the child/young person.
• Have no other children under the age of 16 in your household.
• Be involved in training and preparation which leads to being approved as a foster carer.
• Have experience of working with or looking after vulnerable young people
• Be flexible.
• Want to go the extra mile.
