Post: Grade 4 Teaching Assistant with additional needs
Salary SCP 5-6 (£18,795-19,171 pro rata)
Type: Part-time temporary post (for 1 year in the first instance)
Hours: 25 per week
Required for September 2020; the Governors of Bursley Academy are looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional medical needs and join our energetic and dynamic EYFS team.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent classroom support practitioner
- Fully support the ethos of the academy
- Be committed to raising standards of attainment and achievement for all
- Have a caring and friendly nature with a sense of humour
- Be committed to creating an environment that nurtures and stimulates positive attitudes and independence
- Have experience of working with children with additional needs (specific medical needs would be preferable)
