Due to a retirement we are seeking to appoint a new permanent Teaching Assistant to work within a class group assisting the teacher, supporting learning for all students and offering 1:1 support for students with exceptional needs. There is a possibility of making 2 appointments following interviews due to an increased demand for support staff.

The closing date for applications is Friday 25th September 2020 and interviews will be held on Thursday 1st October. References will be requested prior to interview.

 

The pupils who attend Loxley Hall come from all across Staffordshire and have Education Health Care Plans for Special Educational Needs for Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties with resulting behavioural problems. Our aim at Loxley Hall School is to make our students feel safe, wanted and listened to. We are seeking someone who has patience, a sense of humour, lots of energy and enjoys working around young people.

 

We will provide essential training as part of our Staff Development Programme and will also work with the successful candidate to provide further training opportunities in line with their career aspirations.
