Job Details
To start September 2020
Moat Farm Infant School is looking to appoint a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic person to work within our very effective school. The appointed person will provide 1:1 support for children in school with SEN. They will be working under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO. They will also need to have a genuine desire to work with infant aged children.
Candidates should have the following qualities and experience:
• Minimum of NVQ level 2 qualification
• Previous experience of supporting children with SEN particularly social, emotional and mental health needs
• Ability to maintain a calm and constructive approach when dealing with challenging situations
• Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Experience of working in a school setting, working within a team
• Of supporting children working in EYFS and KS1
• Of supporting children with Special Educational Needs
