EXPERIENCED SOCIAL WORKER post available in the North Locality Team, based at Science Park

18.5 hours fixed term contract

Salary: Grade 7 (£35,934 to £40,760)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appointment an experienced Social Worker. We are seeking a part time Social Worker to work within the Adult Social Care North Team. This is an exciting time to join us as we are adapting our practices due to COVID 19 whilst still meeting the needs of the citizens of Wolverhampton. We take pride in our work and always place the people with whom we are working with at the centre of our decision making.

Over the last few years Wolverhampton have embarked on a new way of working by using the 3 Conversations Model. We work collaboratively with colleagues within the social work teams, agencies, providers, health, colleagues in order to achieve and promote the best outcomes for vulnerable Adults and people with Learning and or Physical Disabilities.

The successful applicant will be required to connect people with the community, undertaking conversations and keeping in touch with people to ensure services are meeting their needs. The job involves direct contact and working with individuals, carers, families, groups and communities, health, police, voluntary partners, commissioners, and service providers.

We are looking for a social worker who:-

• Has substantial experience of working with adults and their carers

• Are fully committed to working with service users promoting well-being and reablement

• Has the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) are fully committed to promoting and customer well being, independence and reablement

• Are Social Work England registered
