This is an exciting opportunity to join and support the Council’s Estates and Investments team.

Telford & Wrekin Council's, Estates & Investments team are one of the Borough's leading commercial agents, managing a considerable portfolio comprising 600 commercial properties for sale and lease together with a wide variety of land for employment and residential development

This exciting post will include assisting and supporting the day to day management of the Council’s growing Property Investment Portfolio, including service charge budgeting, lease renewals and rent reviews together with redevelopment and regeneration projects, land disposal programmes, acquisitions and property investment.

You will also be involved in supporting the delivery of the Council’s corporate disposal programme and working with external partners to deliver the Telford Land Deal.

As a member of one of the borough’s leading commercial agents you will be involved in assisting in providing professional property advice to other services across the Council and helping to ensure the Council delivers its statutory duties as landlord of the Property Investment Portfolio.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or with a diploma in a relevant subject and working towards a degree) with a strong interest in property and an ambition to gain an RICS accredited qualification.

The position requires a knowledge of property related matters and a commercial acumen to deliver business solutions. The candidate will have a knowledge of property marketing and have ideally have experience of working in a professional office with a multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking for someone with a high level of commnuication skills and someone that can work flexibly in a fast moving environment.
