Job Details
Nuneaton Children's Team are looking for enthusiastic and motivated social workers to join our team. We are a case management/long-term team where social workers have caseloads of Child In Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, care proceedings and adoption.
The Role
You will be joining a busy and fast paced team but one with a very supportive and cohesive team culture where the ethos is on child focused work aimed at improving outcomes and enhancing life experiences for children and young people. We adopt a positive, can do and problem solving approach to our work based on the restorative practice model; we set ourselves high standards and are always keen to improve upon our best.
We have a strong, motivated and supportive management group who work hard and to high standards; We have a clear career pathway and a commitment to on-going learning and training and to supporting all staff to develop and to be the best that they can be.
Key Requirements
- Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW))
- HCPC registration
- In depth experience in children's social work and experience of complex cases
- Have excellent analytical skills with ability to make well informed decisions
- Have the ability to record and produce concise, effective and accurate reports
- Have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with children and families
