About the team
The Project Manager will be within the utilities project team as part of the Metro department working in partnership with Midland Metro Alliance and Midland Metro Limited to design, build and operate the West Midlands Metro tramway and network, better connecting the people of our region.
Who we need
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the advanced utility diversion projects for the proposed Metro lines within the West Midlands. It is desirable for the individual to have experience working on complex civil engineering projects and with utility interfaces. They will be responsible for the development of the utility’s diversion plan with each Statutory Undertaker, ensuring that all planned works are coordinated to minimise the effect on the highway network and the Metro alignment with the main works contractor.This is a remote working opportunity until a date is agreed for the WMCA workforce to return to our usual place of work at 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham.
