We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to provide clerical and administrative support to our Health and Safety team.

As Health and Safety Team Administrator you will play a key role in providing effective administrative, clerical and operational business support.  Responsibilities will include the maintenance of a range of key systems including the health and safety accident/incident reporting system and ensuring that we continue to deliver an effective and customer focused service to managers and employees across a diverse range of Council services, schools and academies, external customers and other partner organisations.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • 4 GCSEs at level A-C (9-4) or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
  • Experience of working in an administrative/clerical environment.
  • An understanding of current office/administrative practices.
  • Confident IT skills with knowledge of MS Office (or similar) and expereince of maintaining databases and management information systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet conflicting demands and deadlines.
