We have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Living Co-ordinator to join us on a fixed term basis working 37 hours per week. You will join Dudley Sheltered Housing team at a time of change and development whilst we continue to support the heath and well-being of the tenants.

Hours: 37 per week

Salary:  Grade 6 (Subject to Pay Award)

The post holder will provide and maintain an efficient Sheltered Housing Supporting People service to tenants living in the Sheltered Housing Scheme by identifying and ensuring that their support needs are met, in order to enable a diversity of older vulnerable people to live independently in their own home.  Specifically maximising independence within the service provision in accordance with recognised national codes of good practice and current legislation.

Promote Independence and wellbeing. Deliver and facilitate a multi agency approach across the Place Directorate to the service provision.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and vulnerable adults; therefore the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period.  This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
