Housing Solutions Officer
The posts available are currently Fixed Term until 31 March 2021 but subject to the current service redesign and funding allocations for 2021/22 a number could become permanent posts around April 2021. Furthermore, a good number of staff who are now permanent started in fixed term roles.
Candidates must have a minimum qualification of GCSE Maths and English, level 2 or equivalent and have a knowledge of homelessness.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Housing Solutions Service to provide an effective and professional person centred approach to the prevention and relief of homelessness. To undertake a holistic approach to casework including the assessment and investigation of homelessness in line with the Councils statutory duties.
This is a challenging and high pressured environment, working with vulnerable families and customers with varying needs. If you feel you are up to the challenge we want to hear from you.
As part of your application, and to ensure we recruit the people most suitable for this role, you will be required to answer two questions on the application form.
