Worcestershire is currently further developing its Acute Care Pathway to radically look at how we provide services to the people of our County and now is an excellent time to join this progressive organisation and be part of something new.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our 24hr Countywide Integrated Crisis Resolution Team which provides support to people who present in crisis or those with a severe and enduring mental illness within Worcestershire.  The team is based on the hospital site in close proximity to the health based place of safety and two inpatient wards.

The team acts as a single point of access for urgent same day assessments from a variety of referral sources.  The applicant’s predominate focus will be carrying out assessments under the Mental Health Act and we are in the process of progressing to an AMHP Hub model.  The applicant is required to work across the county and it is essential that applicants can meet the travel requirements of the post.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake flexible working over a 7 day period (inclusive of waking nights) which will consist of three 12.5 hour shifts per week to include day, night and weekend working. The applicant must have a current Approved Mental Health Professional registration and be willing to undertake subsequent training to fulfill roles and responsibilities for personal and professional development.

The team are well-established, supportive and dynamic with excellent clinical and risk assessment skills which will allow further professional development whilst augmenting expertise already possessed.

Staff are provided with regular formal and informal supervision and will be part of a multi-disciplinary team.
