Are you ready for a new exciting challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity within our Fostering Service for a Team Manager in our Supervision and Support Team.

In Dudley, we are committed to supporting our foster carers; working closely with children’s social work teams and professionals to ensure that all our children feel safe and are well cared for and achieve their true potential.
The Supervision and Support Team has responsibility for the supervision and ongoing development and support of approved foster carers.
The successful candidates will provide leadership, motivation and drive to their teams and work alongside the Team Managers in the Recruitment and Assessment Team and the SGO and Connected Persons Team.
Applicants must have a social work qualification and experience of working with Foster Carers along with a sound understanding of the key legislation, policy and best practice guidance underpinning this area of work. They should also be able to demonstrate vision, with excellent leadership skills to ensure we continue to strive to offer the best services for the children we look after.

The council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period. This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
