Teaching Assistant Apprentice - Churnet View Middle School

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Apprentice Teaching Assistant to work alongside teaching staff in the classroom.
National Apprentice Minimum Wage rate £4.15 per hour for the first 12 months. Age related apprentice rates of pay apply on completion of first 12 months. The position is fixed term for 15 months with progression to Year 2 subject to review. 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only.
The role is to provide support to teachers and classes, to ensure that classes run smoothly and professionally at all times and to develop your own classroom skills. The successful applicant will be required to register on the National Apprenticeship Scheme and enrol with a local college to complete a Level 3 qualification as part of their apprenticeship. Provision is made within the working week for time to complete course requirements.
GCSE English and Maths pass grades essential.
