Salary: £15,830 per annum

 

37 hours fixed term from start date

About Us and the Role

The Data Management team within Business Intelligence is offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer Higher Apprentice to join our team, supporting the development of a new Data Analytics Platform in Microsoft Azure, and maintaining the Council’s corporate PostGIS/PostgreSQL spatial database. The apprenticeship is a great opportunity to acquire a wide range of data management skills and will offer hands-on experience in developing web apps to disseminate Council data, address geospatial queries and enhance the user experience.

Every apprenticeship we provide is designed to give you the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to progress into further employment with Warwickshire County Council.

We are based in Warwick but currently work from home.

The qualification associated with this position is the Level 4 Software Developer apprenticeship. If you are already qualified in this subject area, or a similar subject area, at an equivalent/higher level then you may be ineligible to apply.

The training provider for this apprenticeship will be JBC Skills Training.

Your salary will progress to the National Minimum Wage rate for your age after completing the first year of your apprenticeship.
