Anglesey Primary School are looking for an experienced and proactive Pastoral Director to help ensure quality pastoral provision throughout the school. We are a successful and vibrant inner-city school with high demand for places and a Good grading with OFSTED.

The successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience of working within either a school or Children’s Services environment. You will be equipped with the skills and dedication to support the Senior Leadership Team and ensure that there is effective provision to ensure our children feel, happy, safe and well to enable them to achieve their

full potential.

You will assist the Head Teacher in overall management and development of the school within Behaviour Management, Safeguarding, Attendance and Emotional Well-Being. This will include managing a budget and overseeing resources to ensure effective systems for these areas at the school.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders, including parents and outside agencies, using strategies such as Early Help to ensure a full range of Family Support services are available within school wherever possible. You will have the opportunity to build your own team over time to provide further capacity to support these aims.

You will be dynamic and proactive, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for inspiring others. You will be part of a dedicated staff team who are devoted to achieving the best for children in the inner-city.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
