JOB OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Level 2 Early Years Childcare Practitioner to join our New Ducklings Nursery within Offmore Primary School.
Fantastic nursery setting with excellent resources and lovely staff team - it's a genuinely warm, caring, kind and very friendly nursery staff team with excellent team morale. You will find it a great place to work and be yourself. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual. We aim to deliver the highest standard of teaching and care to our children.
The key duties of a Nursery Practitioner are:
Care and supervision of the children
Maintaining a safe, positive and secure environment
Responsibility for children’s individual personal hygiene needs
Establish and develop a good relationship with parents and carers
Complete documentation as required
Have the ability to work on own initiative
Be a flexible team player with good communication skills
Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm
Promote an open and friendly working environment
A kind and sympathetic nature, and an understanding of the needs of very young children

The successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS and Disqualification by Association check. Two written references will be requested prior to interview.
