The Bentley Federation is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic apprentice to join our administration team. Applicants should have English and Maths GCSE and a Level 2 Apprenticeship.
This job involves working on the busy school reception, an essential part of the role is direct contact with pupils, staff, parents and visitors so the ability to communicate in an effective and friendly manner is essential, as well as an understanding of the importance of child protection and safeguarding. As the first point of contact for the school you must be approachable and well presented.
This is a great opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team and train with us in our organisation. The successful applicant will work within an office environment and will be involved in a wide variety of administration, finance and customer service tasks. You will work under the direction of senior staff, to provide general clerical, administrative and financial support to the school.
The successful applicant will also perform IT duties using Outlook, Excel and Word as well as co-ordinating the recording or collation of information from registration, absences, assessments and examinations. You will also be using the school's management information system and may be involved with school finances relating to school trips and other funds.
The successful applicant will initially be based in the office at Bentley West but must be willing to work flexibly across the federation as the need arises. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm with a one-hour lunch break.
