Job Details
The Governors wish to appoint an experienced and qualified Learning Support Practitioner. Applications are invited from an enthusiastic, hard-working LSP who has experience of supporting and working with both individual and groups of children with a range of abilities and needs. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and hold the relevant qualification.
The position is full time and is to support learning within the classroom and to deliver a range of interventions. If appointed, you will work alongside a team of teachers and other practitioners to develop and deliver an appropriate curriculum in line with the children’s needs. You will need a strong understanding of the Primary curriculum and your experience of supporting children will be fundamental to ensure the pupils you support are motivated, encouraged to learn and achieve realistic goals, both socially and academically.
To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or similar and must have a minimum of 12 months experience working in a classroom setting.
