Job role:    Clerical Assistant (Job No 1572)

Contract type:  Temporary contract for two terms – September 2020 to 1st April 2021 (to start as soon as possible)

Hours:   32.5 hours per week (6.5 hours per day Monday to Friday).  This is a part time, term time only position.

Salary:  Grade 3 £18,065 pro-rata

           

About Us:

Merryfields is a 100 place generic special school for children aged 3-11 years in Wolstanton, Newcastle-under-Lyme.    

The role:

We are looking to appoint a Clerical Assistant who is customer focused with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.  You will be the first point of contact within the school and therefore excellent personnel skills are required to deal with a variety of situations.  Our school office is very busy and the role of clerical assistant is both demanding and extremely varied.  You will be able to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team.  You will have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as good ICT and keyboard skills.  You will be committed to the needs of our pupils, parents, staff and other stakeholders of the school.
