Required as soon as possible, we are looking for a Student & Family Support Worker who is highly motivated, organised and flexible, as well as having the skills and confidence to work proactively and positively with families within the school community, including those who are vulnerable and/or hard to reach.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young people and their families, as well as having a good working knowledge of child safeguarding and school attendance legislation.

As a Student & Family Support Worker you will have a great awareness and understanding of the educational risk factors that lead to poor attendance, and what the statutory responsibility of the school and LA are in responding to these. You will also have a passion to enhance the life chances of young people and an ability to relate to young people, parents and professionals with clarity and sensitivity.

Working as a Student & Family Support Worker you will be a dedicated professional who recognises the advantages of both teamwork and peer support. You will provide general advice to parents, carers and stakeholders regarding all issues that impact on young people’s ability and opportunities to access education.

This is a very exciting time to join Trinity as we have established a multi academy trust with two of our partner schools.  Trinity is part of a successful three tier system and we hope that our MAT will further strengthen and enhance the opportunity for students and staff in all the partner schools.
