Care Assistant

27.67 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen, to help shape the future within the boarding facility of this fully generic all-age special school. This post is based at the purpose built, boarding provision; “Russell House” situated on the Habberley Learning Campus. This provision will offer mid-weekly, term-time boarding for up to sixteen pupils of the Wyre Forest School.

It is expected that candidates will have recent experience within a classroom or care provision that caters for children/young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. Candidates should have a clear understanding of what is important in achieving good standards of care and how to support the Head of Care and Care Officers in promoting independence whilst supporting individuals during their evening activities and routines and personal care.
