This is an exciting opportunity to join the Public Health Team at Worcestershire County Council. The Public Health Team is part of a new People Directorate which includes Public Health, Adult Social Care, Communities and the Council’s working relationship with Worcestershire Children First. The Public Health Team is led by the Director of Public Health who is a chief officer within the Council.
We are looking to appoint a confident, enthusiastic Administrator with a 'can do' attitude to join the team. You will work closely with all members of the Public Health Team to support delivery of the County Council public health duties. This will include supporting the team with the current challenge of responding to Covid-19.
You will have excellent engagement and organisational skills and want to enable the team to deliver better health outcomes and reduce health inequalities in Worcestershire. The post holder will need excellent communication skills.
We are committed to developing our staff and you will be able to develop a personal development plan with use of up to 5 days of protected study leave to strengthen core skills or develop other skills within public health.
Working pattern - standard Monday to Friday, some weekend working may be required.
