£9,595.26 - £9.983.22 per annum
£9.55 - £9.94 per hour
The Bentley Federation is seeking a highly motivated, friendly and enthusiastic receptionist to work in our school office. The successful candidate will initially be based in the office at Bentley West but must be willing to work flexibly across the federation as the need arises. This is a part-time role, the working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 1.00pm.
This job involves working on the busy school reception, an essential part of the role is direct contact with pupils, staff, parents and visitors so the ability to communicate in an effective and friendly manner is essential, as well as an understanding of the importance of child protection and safeguarding. As the first point of contact for the school you must be approachable and well presented.
As well as excellent communication skills and telephone manner you should have experience of carrying out general office tasks such as filing, word processing, spreadsheets, use of Publisher and photocopying. Experience in an educational or school office setting would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be given on Integris.
The successful candidate will have a positive, friendly can do attitude and be able to carry out tasks with organised and time managed precision, demonstrating a clear commitment to the team approach combined with the ability to be creative and work independently.
