Apprentice Electoral Services assistant

We are looking to recruit a apprentice electoral services assistant.
The role will help in maintaining the electoral register and the process of voter registration applications. During election periods you will help with the preparation of Polling stations, postal votes and count stationary and equipment.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent organisational skills, a good understanding of customer care and the ability to engage with customers and team members to assist them as required. You will have a good knowledge of Microsoft office packages, particularly Word and Excel.
To be successful in this role you will have;
- A qualification at level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths or a equivalent subject
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent attention to detail
- A high degree of motivation and personnel enthusiasm
This is a one year fixed-term apprentice position
