RELIEF CARE STAFF
New College Worcester (NCW) is a nationally and internationally regarded non-maintained special school, devoted to the education of vision impaired young people aged 11 – 19. NCW has a good OFSTED report.
RELIEF CARE STAFF: (Ref: C211/0920)
(to cover sickness and absences, at short notice)
Salary: £11.15 per hour (SCP5, casual rate)
We need enthusiastic and caring people to work at short notice, with teenage students with a vision impairment, in their social time. The hours would be mainly evening and weekend work, and may include morning shifts up to 09.00. Some shifts may involve sleeping-in, for which there is a paid allowance.
The role would suit qualified and experienced care workers or those who are competent, articulate, willing to train and be part of a whole College approach to care.

Applicants should be aged 21 years and above to comply with the National Minimum Standards. Applicants below the age of 25 cannot work with Sixth form students.
