The Talentum Learning Trust consists of 9 schools based in Leek and the beautiful surroundings of the Staffordshire Moorlands. Westwood College is a well-established and successful 13-19 secondary school and shares a joint sixth form with Leek High School.
Assistant ICT Technician – permanent, 37 hours per week 08.30am-4.30pm, whole year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant ICT Technician to join our busy ICT team. This is a highly valued position providing a first-class service to all students and staff in the use of information technology, whilst helping to maintain ICT equipment and facilities.
Experience of working in an ICT department or possession of good practical ICT skills with knowledge and understanding of a wide range of software packages such as Microsoft Windows 2012,2016,2019, Windows 7 and Windows 10, Capita SIMS, basic networking, switching, routing, firewalls, and managed Wi-Fi (Aruba and UniFi).
To succeed you will be customer focused, able to communicate with a diverse range of people, act with pace and urgency and thrive on working under pressure. You may on occasions be required to work from other schools within the Trust, therefore a UK driving licence is essential.
