Following the progression of our Housing, Capital and Projects colleague, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team.  As our Principal Accountant, you’ll champion excellent management of our financial resources. This means you’ll promote efficiencies, drive high performance and deliver excellent value for money services.

As an expert, others will come to you for direction on everything from financial strategies and policies, to standards and practices. Your advice will help us to make timely, well-informed decisions about major initiatives, projects and schemes.

With post-qualification experience in a professional finance environment, you’ll have sound understanding of Local Government policies and legislation. This post requires a fully qualified member of one of the accountancy institutes in CCAB, (preferably CIPFA), and to be comfortable challenging processes. As a confident communicator, you’ll foster great working relationships with those you work with.
