South Staffordshire is a place where people choose to live because of its attractive villages, countryside and open spaces.
As a Council we have every reason to be confident in our success.
- Our recent LGA Peer Review reported that the leadership of the Council was “very impressive” with “strong evidence of ambition and innovation” and that the Council “was in a strong position to meet future challenges”,
- Our Council Offices will shortly be undergoing modernisation and refurbishment to provide a real community hub with partner organisations, local businesses, library, doctors surgery and cafe all in one central location; and
- Our Business Support team has been a key part of the recovery process, leading on ensuring the District businesses continue to deliver prosperous communities. We have an excellent track record of delivering in partnership on some high-profile schemes.
So, this is a great time to be joining a progressive Council and lead on our exciting and ambitious agenda.
