Cover/Behaviour Support

1.0 FTE   UQ1 to UQ3 (£17,682 to £21,794)

We are seeking to appoint a full time permanent Unqualified Teacher to commence

2 November 2020 or for the right candidate we can be flexible around the start date.

About You

This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward thinking, inspiring and motivated individual to join our school.  You will have the ability to engage students in their learning and promote positive behaviour.  Using your initiative and creativity you will support the development of our students’ experiences and contribute to the schools success.

You will be expected to

  • Supervise the completion of work that has been set by teaching staff.
  • Plan and prepare lessons with oversight from teaching staff.
  • Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom.
  • Support students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.
  • Work under the direction of the behaviour team in promoting high standards of behaviour with students in Turnaround or in small groups when not supervising lessons.
