This is a very important opportunity to influence outcomes around domestic abuse in Worcestershire, working with a range of key partners, including housing teams across the county and Womens Aid.
The post will deliver strategic, specialist domestic abuse advice and consultation to housing authorities and providers in Worcestershire and become a bridge between the services to improve co-ordination, customer pathway’s and strategy.
Employed by Redditch Borough Council and based from home, you will ensure that all domestic abuse cases have a Personal Housing Plan, organising multi-agency meetings if required to resolve a household’s accommodation and support needs.
You will also secure engagement from key services including social care, mental health, substance misuse, and criminal justice, with support from Worcestershire Strategic Housing Officers Group and the Worcestershire Strategic Housing Partnership.
