The Brier School is an outstanding school where all our age children learn to learn, fulfil their potential and develop as young people, prepared to enter society as happy, responsible members of their community.

The Brier School is a flagship special school in the borough of Dudley with a strong reputation in the local community and beyond. 

Hours:  35 hours per week, Term Time only (39 weeks)

Salary:  Grade 3

In the first instance the successful candidates will work in one of our more complex primary classes where many of the pupils have severe learning difficulties. Successful candidates will have a positive attitude and high levels of both physical and emotional resilience. A willingness to be flexible and work throughout the school is essential.

You will be required to undertake a range of training which may include: Makaton signing, PEG feeding, Safer People Handling, Diabetes training, Poolside Safety and TEAM TEACH.

A willingness to work with other schools and agencies as required is necessary.
