Teaching Assistant – for predominately SEN support


Scale 3 Points 5-6 £10.01-£10.21 per hour according to experience
32.5 hours per week, term-time only plus 5 PD days

We are looking for a teaching assistant to start as soon as possible. The post requires a talented individual who is flexible, creative and dedicated to supporting children motivated hard worker.

An NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent would be desirable and ideally the applicant should have experience in dealing with children with complex needs. The individual is going to be expected to work with a range of external agencies and teams to ensure the best provision is delivered. You must be committed to building upon children’s individual strengths and knowledge, be a passionate and reflective practitioner and be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the life of the school.

This is a temporary post in the first instance as it is linked to EHCP funding. We anticipate this post to be at least until the end of the Summer Term 2021.
Visits are encouraged but, due to COVID 19 requirements, visits will be arranged via the school office for outside of the usual school hours.
