Hagley Primary School is a happy, exciting and forward-looking school.
We are seeking to appoint a confident, caring and organised person to join our team in the role of School Lead First Aider. This role will require applicants to assess the medical and welfare needs of students and staff, and administer front-line First Aid. The successful candidate will ensure that pupils with ongoing medical needs are supported in school in line with their Individual Health Care Plans, administer approved medication to students and maintain records and reports, including those for statutory requirements.
The position may also include other administrative duties in support of the wider school, making this role both varied and interesting.
Applicants must hold a full First Aid certificate as a minimum requirement. Relevant experience of working in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential.
Hagley Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
An application form and further details are available from our school website www.hagleyprimary.org.uk or e-mail aheath@hagleyprimary.worcs.sch.uk to request an application pack
Closing date: Wednesday 30th September 12.00 noon
