We are looking for:

  • Demonstrable commitment to raising the attainment of all pupils
  • Excellent understanding of both subject and general teaching pedagogy
  • High level guitar/vocal coaching/ piano/percussion skills
  • A teacher who is able to create and adapt musical arrangements in a variety of styles and genres
  • Experience of leading rehearsals and performances
  • Effective and systematic behaviour management
  • An individual to be or demonstrate the potential to become an outstanding teacher

Applications are welcomed from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.  The successful applicant will be supported by an excellent department. For NQTs, we provide our highly successful NQT programme where you will train alongside other NQTs.  This enables aspiring teachers to support and learn from each other, in the true collaborative spirit of teaching. Every member of staff receives the opportunity to complete full Level 1 TEEP (Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement Programme) training course for 3 days.
