Relief Driver – Warwickshire

About The Role

Transport Operations secures all home to school transport provision for students with special educational needs as well as transport to day care services for adults.

We are looking for a driver to join us working on a relief basis to cover absences based at one of our Warwickshire depots.

Working within a team, you can expect to be working on a split shift system that could include a morning shift working sometime between 7.00 am and 11.00 am and returning for the afternoon shift sometime between 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm. In most cases work will be agreed a week in advance although, on occasions, emergency cover may be requested.

You will be responsible for transporting adults and children to day care, respite placements and schools in Warwickshire which will include helping passengers on and off the bus, ensuring their comfort and safety during transportation, maintaining the vehicle records as well ensuring the bus is clean and tidy after each use. A full package of training will be provided to support you in the role should you be successful.
