Casual Learning Managers (Cover Supervisors) - Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy

We require people who are both confident and able to work with young people in a classroom environment, to ensure that quality learning takes place during staff absence. We already have two dedicated Learning Managers, who work closely with specific departments, and wish to build a network of casually employed staff, to call upon as and when required.

OSCA is a welcoming academy, which has benefitted from a major re-build and refurbishment programme. This has created exciting, new and well-equipped learning spaces. We are becoming increasingly the academy of choice in our community and are full and oversubscribed once again.

We have stringent measures in place (in line with government regulations) for the safety of all staff and students, regarding Covid-19, and rigorous training will be provided.

We are in very close proximity to Birmingham city centre, with excellent transport links by car, bus and train; and are just a few minutes from Junction 2 of the M5.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. We therefore insist that all applicants complete the section on safeguarding in the application form in order to be considered for interview. No agencies.
