Oak Hill Church of England Primary School is a welcoming small school set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Cotswolds. We have two school sites set 5 miles apart. Dumbleton has two classes: EYFS and KS1; and Alderton has two KS2 classes.
The staff and governors believe every child should leave Oak Hill with high academic attainment and strong moral and spiritual values. Our pupils should also develop enquiring minds, tolerance and respect for others and have high expectations of themselves for the future.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative leader who will work in partnership with governors and staff to further develop our school. The successful candidate should have a positive commitment to the ethos and values of a Church of England school. You will also be required to teach one day per week to cover for staff planning and preparation time.
Our Headteacher holds the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead for the school –we are prepared to support the training and on-going support to fulfil this role if required.
At Oak Hill you will work with:
- an excellent, dedicated and creative team of staff;
- pupils who are enthusiastic and enquiring and who enjoy a very positive relationship with staff;
- an informed and supportive governing body; and
- engaged parents and the wider community.
Visits are welcomed, with suitable consideration for the current Covid-19 protocols,and may be arranged by contacting the school. Interviews will be held week commencing 12 October.
