MASH- Contact and Referral Team Manager

Salary up to: £52,186, plus a £3,000 welcome payment*

The Contact and Referral Team is located within Worcestershire Children’s Services Family Front Door.

This team is the first point of contact when families or professionals have new concerns for children that are not already open to children’s services.

The team consists of Team Managers, experienced Social Workers, Initial Screening Contact Officers and Business Administrative Support.

The team work collectively in order to ensure new referrals and concerns for children who are resident in the area are processed effectively in line with the local Levels Of Need Threshold. The RAG rating system is used to inform timescales.  Request for information are also processed within this team

Alongside processing contact and referrals, the team contribute to a number of multi-agency forums including Domestic Abuse Triages and MASH discussions.  Social workers in the team offer support and guidance to professionals and members of the public with regards to concerns they may have for children in the local area.
