Cleaner in Charge

An attractive and exciting post has become available at Upper Arley C of E Primary school. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and hardworking Cleaner in Charge to work within the school setting.

The purpose of this post is to ensure the school is kept clean, safe and maintained to facilitate the effective teaching of pupils.

This is inclusive of tasks such as recording and reporting of deficiencies in the building fabric and undertake routine checks to keep the school compliant within health and safety regulations.

It is essential that the candidate has good communication skills, and willingness to belong to a friendly team of hardworking staff members. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.  Tasks will include recording of routine fire alarm and water checks and reporting any deficiencies to the Headteacher, along with directing other cleaning staff in routine cleaning duties.
