Governors of Belle Vue Primary School are looking to appoint a School SIte Manager who is enthusiastic, energetic and motivated to become part of our school team.

The successful post holder will have high standards and expectations, have a good eye for detail and be someone who is willing to give of their best.  We care about our school and believe that every person within it has a key role in achieving those high standards.  Belle Vue Primary School is on a journey of improvement and modernisation and we require a Site Manager who will be an active part of that process and beyond.

The role offers for the right person, opportunities to make a significant impact and really make a difference.  We have a large site, with much potential and it is important that the successful candidate is proactive and able to maintain it successfully.

Being an experienced caretaker and or site manager would be an advantage, although full training would be given to the successful person.  We would like the post holder to start as soon as possible following pre employment checks being completed.

  • Able to follow own initiative and work with minimal direction
  • Able to prioritise
  • Takes pride in everything they do
  • Completes what they are asked and to a high standard
  • Has a great relationship with all staff
  • Has skills such as carpentry, painting and decoration and general maintenance
  • Has experience of over seeing Health and Safety
  • Has knowledge of safeguarding
  • Able to lead and manage a team of cleaners

*Dudley council has a contractual 3 days mandatory unpaid leave which, for the majority of services, are fixed at the Christmas period.  This represents a pay deduction of 1.15% in return for which employees are afforded three days unpaid leave (pro-rata for part time staff).
