TEACHING ASSISTANT – Maternity cover

Greswold Primary School is committed to keeping young people and vulnerable adults safe. We will be requesting a DBS check to be carried out on appointment.

Greswold is a very popular primary school in central Solihull which is nearing the end of expansion from 2 form to 3 form entry throughout the school. We provide an inclusive learning community where every child really does matter. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant working within our Nursery classes.

Ideally candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teaching and Learning or the equivalent, while a good level of numeracy and literacy is essential (GCSE Grade C).

The role is part time 13 hours per week on a Thursday & Friday (8.15-11.30 am and 12.30-3.45 pm) inclusive of INSET days. The position will be paid on Band C point 6-14 currently £19,171 to £22,462 pro rata dependant on qualifications and experience.

The role will commence 2nd November or sooner.
