Customer Service Advisor
We have a full-time opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor within the customer service/contact centre ‘Lichfield Connects’. The centre provides a key role in enabling the Council to deliver on its promise to improve lives by delivering great services to the residents of Lichfield District.
The role involves a high degree of public contact in dealing with queries by telephone, face to face (please note that our offices are currently closed to the public), correspondence and email on a wide range of the Council’s services, together with taking payments using the corporate e-payment system, entering information on the Customer Service Relationship Management system Jadu CXM and scanning and indexing of documents using the corporate document management system and using other relevant back office systems to deliver excellent customer services and responding to customer enquiries at first point of contact.
You will have previous experience of working in Local Government Customer Service/Contact Centre Team and of dealing with customers in a face to face environment. Excellent communication and listening skills are essential, together with excellent organisational and administrative skills. You will also have experience of dealing with people at all levels.
