Major Development Projects Officer
Lichfield District Council has ambitious plans to bring forward key developments within Lichfield city centre and the wider District as part of our economic growth agenda and we are looking to appoint a Major Development Projects Officer to enhance the team and support the Major Development Projects Manager. You will have good knowledge and experience of property and regeneration activities as well as excellent project management skills and be able to progress work tasks with the minimum of supervision. This is a good opportunity for someone keen to develop their existing skills and knowledge in property, development and regeneration matters and make a positive difference to Lichfield District.
In supporting the Major Development Projects Manager, your duties will include project management of development projects from inception to completion including site analysis, production of briefs, legal work, planning application submissions,financial analysis and other tasks to deliver the developments required.
You will also be assisting in the preparation and submission of bids for external funding, site options appraisals, assisting in the preparation of strategies and guidance to inform development and the preparation of tender packages for contractors.
As well as good property and regeneration knowledge and experience, you will have excellent communication skills, be skilled with Microsoft Office, be able toe ffectively prioritise tasks and work on own initiative, and be able to communicate and negotiate with a range of stakeholders and contractors.
