Teaching Assistant (Additional Needs) Part Time to start as soon as possible
The post is for 10 hours per week initially on a fixed term part time contract until July 2021, which is dependent upon a specific child's funding.
Salary Scale Point 2 £18,198 pro rata (£10.74 per hour) , term time only
We are looking to recruit a calm, kind and caring person who has clear, consistent expectations of behaviour and experience of working with children with social and emotional needs, for the role of Teaching Assistant (Additional Needs) to join our Key Stage 1 Team to support a child's needs.
We are looking for someone who;
* Has experience of working with children with social and emotional needs.
*Has well developed inter-personal skills to be able to relate well to a wide range of people
* Excellent communication skills
* Has a sense of humour, is approachable and sensitive to the needs of others
* Committed to the needs of the child, parents and other stakeholders
* Is flexible and adaptable to change
*Acts with pace and urgency by being energetic, enthusiastic and decisive
* Is able to consistently follow a structured plan
*Has experience of working with a range of agencies
Hours: 10 hours Monday - Friday afternoons from 1pm - 3pm within Key Stage 1. However, there is the possibility for additional morning hours, depending upon EHCP funding.
