Walsall Children's Services invite you to join us in our exciting transformation journey. Walsall have been undergoing a transformation both in the way we deliver services and the structures of some of our teams, to ensure that children receive the Right Help at the Right Time. Our use of restorative practices are deepening and bringing about a transformation in our approach to improving outcomes for the most vulnerable children and young people in our local population. 

This is an exciting time for Walsall Children and young people  Disability Team as we move forward on our Transformation Journey and into All Age Disability Model way of working. We are looking to recruit social workers who are passionate about doing the right thing for children and young people with a disabilities and their families and who are committed to working in a relational way with families.

As one of our social workers we will support you to develop your skills and knowledge when working with families using a restorative approach.  We are looking for Social Workers who are willing to work with children and young people with a disability and their families in order to assess and meet their needs and when required who look to reducing harm and maintain children with their families wherever possible.

The post holder must have a social work qualification or equivalent and must be registered with the HCPC.
