Full-time Permanent Post, 37 hours per week


As part of the continual growth and development of Children’s Services, an exciting opportunity has arisen following a re-structure. We are seeking a dynamic, forward thinking individual who strives to improve outcomes for children and families both at Early Intervention and Statutory Levels of support.

As a member of the Council’s Senior Management Group, the post holder will be responsible for Early Intervention, MASH and EDT and be accountable for:

• Delivery of a statutory social work service that achieves high quality outcomes for children and families

• Ensuring the delivery of evidence informed practice that secures the safety and well-being of children • Developing professional relationships that promote multi-agency working in the interests of children and families

• Providing expertise in the delivery of Early Intervention and social work practice across the full range of services within social care

• Acting as a champion within the service for restorative practice.
