We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional, with significant experience of the challenges faced by vulnerable learners, to work collaboratively with schools to ensure that families are supported in the right way, at the right time, to ensure improved overall outcomes for children.

The Learner Engagement Team Lead is a key strategic role within the Vulnerable Learners area of Worcestershire Children First. In addition to ensuring that the statutory duties associated with vulnerable children are fulfilled, the post-holder will need to build on strong partnerships with educational settings, social care and our SEND services. This post will also need to develop and sustain strong effective relationships with our Gypsy Roma and Traveller community, working in collaboration to review the service, and ensure that we are meeting the needs of the community.

The Team Lead will embed effective collaborative and integrated approaches to working and demonstrate a commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all children.
