As an apprentice you’ll be earning a wage whilst you learn new skills to help you in your role. You'll complete a nationally recognised qualification and be assessed throughout your learning.

An apprenticeship is a great way to develop your skills and knowledge to become a confident and skilled care worker. If you’re new to adult social care an apprenticeship is a really good place to start. If you already work in social care, you can do an apprenticeship to help you progress in your career.

Day Opportunities for People with Learning Disabilities in Solihull are looking for a self motivating, enthusiastic, reliable individual to join their experienced team of staff in the North of the Borough.

Working with people with Learning Disabilities you will support individuals who are accessing community facilities or day centres to achieve independence and personal and social responsibility.

In conjunction with the Day Service Co-ordinator, monitor and review individuals Person Centred Reviews/Person Centred Plans to ensure service users’ needs and wishes are being fulfilled.

To assist with carrying out day activities that ensure service users achieve maximum independence and have opportunities for self-development and social inclusion.

Provide personal care/support according to the needs of the service user.
